Cannot accept Nella's Dream with ported pets

After the change, Nella's Dream does appear, but when i try to accept it while having my Pinkie Candy pet out, the dialogue just ends and the quest isn't accepted. Putting away the pet causes the quest to vanish entirely until i bring a pet back out. I assume this will happen with other backported pets, but can't test that myself.
