Instant death when receiving Hyper Body

For some reason, every time a Dark Knight uses Hyper Body (HB) in my party, my character dies instantly. I suspect it might be related to my high base HP. When the HB buff is applied, my Max HP spikes to around 70k, and I immediately drop dead. It looks like an HP overflow issue where the system can't handle the value going that high.
