No dragon stone from nein spirit after handing in Nine Spirit's Egg

As per title, I handed in Nine Spirit's Egg, and the notification on chat says I have gained a Dragon Stone but did not receive it in my inventory. This has happened twice in a row. Is this intended? P.s. I have already egged by HTP necklace once.
