Event Join Timer.

Can make Joining Event Timer Longer? I tried to join this Red Light, Green Light. but it is only 15s join timer and i wasn't able to join. E.g If i change channel it will take me like 10-20s to change channel due to lag. Also if i have @mylawn on, i wasn't able to type fast enough to off mylawn and join the map else my pt members can't hit the mobs in the map.
