Scroll / Ore Conversion System via Widget

Would like to suggest an expansion to the existing in-game widget, specifically for converting unwanted scrolls into a universal scroll currency . Scrolls The idea is simple: players can convert scrolls they don't need into a universal currency. This currency can then be exchanged for scrolls from a fixed list. This helps prevent unwanted/class-irrelevant scrolls from from becoming stagnant or left to rot inside widget storage. For example, if I’m playing a NL and keep getting mage/warrior/bowman scrolls that I don’t need, I could convert them into currency and eventually exchange that currency for something useful, such as a 60% GFA scroll. The exact conversion rates can be worked out and adjusted in the future, but naturally, rarer or more valuable scrolls should give more currency. This keeps the system flexible while still respecting scroll rarity and market value. This could also help smooth out the mid-game slumber/fog where players may struggle with damage progression. Being able to slowly convert unwanted scrolls into useful ones could help players improve their gear naturally, especially when they start facing tankier mobs and feel their damage falling behind. Ideally, everything could be handled directly within the widget for convenience: - Convert unwanted scrolls into universal scroll currency - Exchange scroll currency for selected scrolls from a list - Multi-select / select multiple scrolls at once for conversion - Show clear conversion rates before confirming This would make the system easy to use without needing additional NPCs or complicated menus. Ores/Crystals On a similar note, this idea could also be expanded to ores/crystals. For example, if I have too many of one ore, but need another specific ore, I could exchange them at a fixed ratio. Something like: 10 Garnet Ores → 1 Gold Ore The ratio can be adjusted depending on ore rarity or usefulness, but the general idea is to reduce dead inventory clutter and give excess materials a purpose. The numbers for both would definitely need balancing, but I think the general concept could be a healthy QoL/progression system. The inspiration for this comes partly from Chronostory, where they have a scroll machine in the FM and mobs drop scroll vouchers that are eventually exchanged for scrolls. However, I don’t think we should replicate the exact same system. This version would be more Kuro-specific by allowing players to recycle existing unwanted scrolls and materials.
