Suggestion Title:Wind Archer skill suggestions Description of Suggestion: Wind Archer which while designed as middle pack class, I feel like class could maybe get couple changes to help class feel a bit better. I know the skill % are not final and still being looked at but there's quite a difference in skill% from Wind Archer compared to Bowmaster Final Attack refinement: I always like the idea that wind archer's final attack would be called Trifling Wind to fit the theme https://media.maplestorywiki.net/yetidb/Skill_Trifling_Wind_III.png It would be basically same as final attack but it shoots arrows with cool sound effect that matches well with Song of Heaven (which uses correct sounds from GMS) Video link to showcase it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrs2fxBlQKA (effect is purple arrows that make a harp sound effect when they get launched, also plays the monsoon effect animation as well) Skill Description: Trifling Wind: Summons the Spirit of Wind to utterly confound enemies, breaking down their bodies and minds. Soul energy appears in the direction the Wind Archer is facing. Storm Summon rework: Could be reworked to have a strong summon like other 2 archers renamed to Storm Elemental and made bigger and more visually green like icon https://media.maplestorywiki.net/yetidb/Skill_Storm_Elemental.png Proposed: Moved to 4th Job Renamed to Storm Elemental Skill Description: Gain the power to summon a wind elemental. At max, Damage would be increased from 40% to 1000%, number of attacks increased from 1 to 2, enemies hit increased to 6, range hitbox boosted to match Frostprey and Pheonix, duration increased from 300 seconds to 600 seconds Song of Heaven: Costs too much mana as hurricane skill, it should be lowered from 36 to 9 to match bowmaster's hurricane. In addition, I do feel like the skill is a bit undertuned in damage. Bowmaster's hurricane is 190% but they also have permanent 60 attack from concentrate making them even better while Wind Archer's is only 100% which is pretty low for hurricane skill and they do not have any innate damage buffs to help it. Perhaps the skill could be raised back up to 150% so it will bring them a little bit closer to bowmaster while not matching the same exact skill, in addition, allow it to keep firing even in air which seems weird that it stops midair. (Unsure if bowmaster has same issue with hurricane not firing if midair but it should happen regardless) Proposed Song of Heaven: Damage: 100% -> 150% (130% would also be a bit acceptable) Mana usage reduced from 36 to 9 Allow it to keep firing in air (currently stops if you jump/are in air) which could be bad since they don't have 100% stance Spiraling Vortex: Range was recently fixed. Damage output seems a bit too low if intent is to make wind archer's mobbing better than bowmaster's piercing which is at 240% x4 (not accounting 60 attack they get from concentrate) while WA's is only 180% x4 and they do not get any innate damage boosts so funding wise, wind archer would need more to be able to mob vs bowmaster which has stronger skill%. Propose: Damage: 180% -> 220% (puts it closer to bowmaster's piercing while not overtaking them since bowmaster has concentrate to boost their %skill) Why Do You Think This Is Needed? Wind Archer should be as suggested middle of pack class however they seem to lean towards being on weaker end since their skill% are fairly low for what is considered to be middle. I am not suggesting bowmaster hurricane and piercing need nerfs cause it feels like wind archer is very underpowered in their skill% since they do not get concentrate to boost attack power. 100% x2 on hurricane is just very sad for 4th job skill (potentially lowest % base for any 4th job skill) Possible Downsides or Obstacles: Class balance can be difficult to balance in general
