Dawn Warrior vs. Hero Damage Difference • Since Beta 1, I had already noticed the damage difference between Hero and Dawn Warrior. I couldn't figure out why this was happening—I don't know if it was because of Advanced Combo or if Dawn Warrior's single-target skills just had lower damage. • I think Kuro, since he is the GM, can easily test this by equipping the exact same gear and just using commands to switch from one class to the other. Need for a Better Single-Target Skill • What the character really lacks right now is a more functional single-target skill that deals more damage. • I have some of the best gear in the game, yet I'm losing to characters with fewer scrolls who are weaker. Their items aren't nearly as good as mine, but they deal twice my damage, even with the exact same buffs. Skill Tree Adjustments (3rd & 4th Job) • Is there a possibility of removing Panic and Coma from the 3rd job, since they are useless? I'm past level 200 and haven't put a single point into them. • Maybe add Power Guard or some other skill to improve defense, because the character takes way too much damage. • Since we have very few skills in the 4th job and barely spend any points, I have over 150 to 160 unused skill points on my character. Adding "Crash" to Dawn Warrior • Regarding the Crash skill (CR), maybe there could be a possibility of giving it to the Dawn Warrior. I don't know if it would be too broken, but all the Adventurer Warriors have it. Maybe it could be added, I'm not sure. Rush Skill Adjustment • Also, regarding the Rush skill, it currently only hits 3 mobs. This is too few, especially since the skill's main purpose isn't dealing damage. • I would prefer if its damage were reduced in exchange for hitting more mobs—around 6 to 10, for example. The whole point of the skill is mob control, allowing you to push them all to one side so you can attack them together. Hero's "Shout" Skill Adjustment • Regarding the Hero class, I'd like to suggest an improvement for the AOE skill "Shout". It could use a larger range and higher damage, because right now it's practically useless. We spend 30 skill points on it, and it ends up not being used for anything. • For comparison, Dark Knights have Dragon Roar and Paladins have Heaven's Hammer. Heroes should also have a viable AOE farming skill. • Even if it's not on the level of Mages, it should at least be able to clear low-level mobs. This way, when a Hero is questing, hunting, or farming low-level items like ores, we could use Shout instead of having to do absolutely everything with Brandish. Future Suggestions • I have some other suggestions for Hero, but since I haven't had time to make mine yet, I'll have to wait a few more days.

I agree with your opinion on Hero. Before i get brandish, i use slash blast (1st job skill) and final attack (2nd job skill ), no other skill can be used. Coma:sword will end Combo attack,it is useless.

Agreed with most things. Here's my issue with giving Dawn Warrior more Single Target damage. It seems like CKs are more geared for mobbing and AoE damage rather than ST damage, so it makes sense that DW would be weaker than Hero in that respect. However, I haven't been to 4th job DW and I can't speak for how big the ST damage difference is. If the difference is that severe and they need enough of a buff to be competitive, but not outclass Hero, that's reasonable. But there should be a key distinction between DW and Hero, something that sets them apart without making one objectively better overall. At the moment, if we give DW Power Guard, Crash, and more ST damage, it begs the question why anyone would play Hero at that point, since it would completely outclass Hero. I'm okay with just giving them Power Guard, but Crash is a significant niche that differentiates the two classes. So my suggestion is to pick one - stronger ST damage, or Crash, not both. DW shouldn't be able to keep up with Hero in terms of ST damage, otherwise there would be no balance between the two. If DW keeps their current damage, then I think there's no reason why they shouldn't have Crash like other warriors. If the ST damage is buffed to Hero's level, however, then Hero needs something to give it some kind of edge over DW. Here's an idea: How about instead of buffing their ST damage, DW gains Holy elemental damage with their Soul Charge skill? Make it so that DW is weaker than Hero in ST damage unless there's a Holy element weakness, then DW can have its own niche. If that was the case, I'd be okay with giving them Crash as well. Ultimately, I just want Hero and DW to not be carbon copies of each other, but I also don't want one to outclass the other. As for Rush and Shout, agreed with both points. I use Shout against low level mobs for finishing quests or farming and such. Any range or damage buffs it gets are greatly appreciated, but it doesn't need to be competitive with mages or Dragon Roar, just enough to make it useful in some way.

Since my first post, I’ve made some massive upgrades to my gear and leveled up twice to test the damage scaling. To give you an idea of the upgrades: • Quest Medal: Upgraded from 50 All Stats to fully maxed. This gave me an extra +50 STR and +20 ATT. • Glove: Upgraded for an additional +4 ATT. • Weapon Setup: I swapped my 132 ATT Reverse Sword for a 129 ATT Lunch Box equipped with a 14 ATT Shield (Total = 143 ATT, meaning an extra +11 ATT). • Levels: I leveled up twice, giving me an additional +10 STR. • Attack Speed: My weapon speed improved from Normal (6) to Fast (4). Normally, in most MapleStory servers, the general rule of thumb is that 5 STR equals roughly 1 Weapon Attack. I'm not sure if it works exactly like that here on Kuro, but if it does, the 60 extra STR (50 from medal + 10 from levels) equals about +12 ATT. When you add that to the +35 raw ATT I gained from my items, my character had an effective increase of around 47 ATT, plus jumping two stages in attack speed. Despite all of these massive upgrades, my DPM only increased by 5 million—going from 10m to 15m. There is definitely something weird going on with the damage formula or scaling here, because an increase of roughly 47 ATT and a much faster attack speed should have provided a significantly bigger boost

Planned changes: Dawn Warrior changes: Modest damage increase on 4th job skills — enough to make them viable, but not enough to outclass Hero on single-target Add Achilles (passive damage reduction, addresses the squishiness complaint too) Hero changes: Shout gets a damage buff and slightly larger range — usable for low-level farming and questing, not competing with Dragon Roar
