Questions about Kuro

Is Kuro free to play?

Yes. There is no subscription and nothing to buy to progress. You can play everything on Kuro without paying.

Can I play on my phone or a Mac?

Yes. The browser version at play.playkuro.com runs on phones, tablets, Mac and Windows with nothing to install. On Windows you can also use the desktop launcher.

Which version and classes does Kuro have?

Kuro is a classic v83 server from before the Big Bang update. At character creation you pick an Explorer (every branch, Pirates included), a Cygnus Knight or Aran. Dual Blade, Pathfinder, Cannoneer, Shade and Phantom are unlocked at level 10: make an Explorer and talk to the class NPC before your 1st job. 1st job is at an instructor NPC; 2nd, 3rd and 4th job are automatic at levels 30, 70 and 120.

What are the rates?

2x EXP until level 200, then 1x. Meso and drop are 1x and quest EXP is 3x. Characters below your account's highest level get 4x EXP, so alts catch up fast. The level cap is 300 for every class. Rates stay close to the original so the economy and the Free Market keep their value.

Is Kuro pay-to-win?

No. There are no cash advantages on Kuro: levels, gear and boss clears come from playing.

How do I join the Discord?

Create a free Kuro account and log in, then choose Join Discord on your dashboard. The Discord is open to registered players and is where you find help, events and party members.
